Ken Nacos from the Philippines and Hill Sice from Hong Kong ( China ) won the championships in the men’s and women’s speed race events, respectively.
In the course racing, Estonia ’s Heikki Gross took the title in the men’s event, while Katheris Borgward from Germany secured the title in the women’s event.
The first prize in the freestyle category went to Aya Oshima, a female athlete from Japan .
The five-day annual tournament drew nearly 100 professional and amateur athletes from countries and territories around the world, including China, Russia, the US, the Philippines, Hong Kong (China), Estonia, Germany and Japan.
This year’s KTA will be held in six regional countries. After Vietnam , the tourney will come to Thailand , the Philippines and finally the Republic of Korea. /.
