Danish Crown Prince Frederik left Ho Chi Minh City on the evening of
Dec. 1, finishing his visit to Vietnam at the invitation of Vietnamese
Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan.
Before leaving Vietnam ,
the Crown Prince met with the People’s Committee Chairman of Ho Chi
Minh City , Le Hoang Quan, who considered the Crown Prince’s visit as a
showing of the Danish Royalty and people’s valuable sentiment and belief
in the improvement of the traditional friendship and cooperation
between Vietnam and Denmark .
The Crown Prince
expressed his positive impression of Ho Chi Minh City ’s rapid
development. He was also satisfied with cultural and artistic exchange
activities on the 40 th anniversary of establishment of the two
countries’ relations, saying that exchange activities helped enhance
Vietnam-Denmark relations.
The same day, the Crown Prince
attended the inauguration ceremonies of the Cai Mep port in Ba Ria –
Vung Tau southern province and a representative office of Danish
business./.
