More than 600 disadvantaged children in Hanoi will enjoy a arts festival which will take place at the Hanoi Children’s Palace on Mar. 27-28.

Vice Director of the palace Lai Hong Dang said on Mar. 11 that the biennial festival, the ninth of its kind, aims to encourage disadvantaged children, including those with deformities, to integrate into the community.

The children, who are living in 20 childcare schools and social welfare centres around the city, will join in singing, dancing, and musical performances as well as dramatic performances and other collective games.

The arts fest will provide a venue for the children to exhibit products they made themselves./.
