Artists Giang Quoc Co and Giang Quoc Nghiep from Ho Chi Minh circus troupe were awarded silver lion prize at the 13 th China Wuqiao International Circus Festival in Shijiazhuang, capital of the Chinese northern province of Hebei on Oct. 30.

The award, the highest ever prize that Vietnamese artists have won at circus festivals in China, honoured the pair’s performance named “Suc manh doi tay” (Power of the arm).

The ten-day event drew the participation of international artists from 16 countries, including China, the US, Canada, Russia, France, Belarus, Mongolia, Germany, Spain, Brazil, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Sweden, Australia, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, Australia and Vietnam.

After the event, the Vietnamese artists will continue entertaining Chinese audience with this performance at the invitation of the organising board./.
