Hollywood lecturer Pilar Alessandra will run a three-day course at the end of November aimed at Vietnamese people interested in writing film scripts.

She started her career in film as a script reader for Amblin Entertainment, then became Senior Story Analyst at DreamWorks.

In 2001 Alessandra set up the popular writing programme On the Page, by which she has helped thousands of writers create, refine and sell their screenplays.

The guru is additionally known for screenwriting courses such as First Draft (focused on six steps in forming ideas), Rewrite (based on script correction) and Coffee Break Writer (including instructions on how to complete work alongside busy schedules).

Alessandra's students have won prestigious awards at the Austin Film Festival, the Open Door and Fade-In competitions while TV dramas in which they have been involved in, including Prison Break, Lost, CSI Miami, The Dresden Files, have gained fame around the world./.
