Uncertain conditions on global markets sent the VN-Index down by 1.13
percent July 6 to 500.82 points.
The southern market
saw a total of 52.3 million shares changing hands in the session, up 32
percent over July 5 session, which generated a value of 1.5 trillion
VND (78.9 million USD). Sacombank (STB) was the most active stock on a
volume of 5.2 million shares.
On Hanoi Stock
Exchange, HNX-Index slid 1.57 percent to end on July 6 session at 155.8,
the lowest level for a month.
Trading volume,
however, rose 21.9 percent against Monday, reaching 32.8 million shares
for a value of 939.8 billion VND (49.5 million USD). Kim Long Securities
(KLS) was the most heavily traded stock, with 3.01 million shares
changing hands.
Licogi Company No16.6 started the
first listing day in Hanoi market on July 6, with share price
closing up to 43,000 VND a piece, from the offering price of 36,000 VND.
Of 2.5 million shares up for grabs, the company saw 278,800 change
hands.
Foreign investors returned to net-buyers on
national stock exchanges on July 6, responsible for a net volume of
400,000 shares, valueing 44.8 billion VND (2.3 million USD)./.
