Int'l Vietnamese martial arts tournament opens

The third international Vietnamese martial arts (Vovinam) tournament opened in HCM City on July 25, attracting 51 teams from 15 countries and territories worldwide.

Vietnam has 15 teams competing at the event.

This is a big event marking a new development of Vietnamese traditional martial arts, which are becoming popular in Europe, Africa, Australia and America .
After four days of competition, oversea teams will take part in a martial arts festival from August 1 – 3 in Binh Dinh central province.-VNA
