More congratulations pour in on Party anniversary

The General Secretary and the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam continued to receive messages of congratulations from major parties, international organisations and diplomatic corps on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Party.

The well-wishers included the Communist Party of Cuba Central Committee; General Secretary of the Communist Party of India A. B. Bardhan; President of the Bangladeshi Workers Party R. Khan Menon; President of the Bulgarian Socialist Party National Council Sergei Stanishev; Palestinian State President and President of the Palestine Liberation Organisation (PLO) cum President of the Palestinian Authority Mahmoud Abbas; the Palestinian Fatah movement and the President of the Mongolian People’s Revolutionary Party S. Bayar.

The Communist Party of Cuba Central Committee expressed their pleasure at the development of friendship and solidarity between the two Parties and peoples and expressed their belief that those relations will become a symbol of the age.

Meanwhile, the General Secretary of the Communist Party of India praised Vietnam ’s economic development, describing the economy as rising above others in Asia . These achievements were attributed to the CPV’s skilful guidance, he wrote.

The President of the Bangladeshi Workers Party expressed his belief that under the leadership of the CPV, Vietnam would become a fundamentally industrialised country in 2020, strengthening the foundation of its socialist society.

The President of the Bulgarian Socialist Party National Council said the Bulgarian people will always support and pay close attention to Vietnam ’s national renewal process and that they highly appreciate the traditional cooperation and friendship between the two parties.

The Palestinian State President roundly praised Vietnam’s persistent stance of solidarity with the Palestinian people in their struggle for freedom, independence and the establishment of an independent Palestinian State.

The Palestinian Fatah movement praised Vietnam’s role in and approach to Middle East and Palestinian issues, on the basis of the history between the two parties and countries and the close relations between Presidents Yasser Arafat and Ho Chi Minh.

Also, the President of the Mongolian People’s Revolutionary Party expressed his belief that friendship and cooperation between Mongolia and Vietnam would continue to be fruitful, for the benefit of the two peoples and for peace, stability and development in the Asia-Pacific region./.
