The Vietnam Post Corporation (Vietnam Post) introduced its new international express delivery service called VNQuickpost at a ceremony in Hanoi on July 4.

This is the outcome of a joint initiative between Vietnam Post and DHL Express, the world’s leading express service.

The economical, secure and fast express delivery service targets customers in the middle-income bracket.

At first VNQuickpost will operate from seven cities and provinces, including Hanoi , Ho Chi Minh City , Hai Phong, Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Da Nang and Quang Nam .

The service delivers to over 220 countries and territories across the world within 2-7 days.

With a 24-hour hotline and a monitoring system, customers can also follow their goods during the delivery process.

Nguyen Quoc Vinh, Vietnam Post’s Deputy Director, said his corporation and DHL Express have been working together since 2007.

VNQuickpost is a joint effort and will be very convenient for the domestic market, while improving the quality of logistics services in general, said Vinh.

He said he hoped that the new service will become familiar to customers in Vietnam as it is fast, reliable, affordable and safe.-VNA
