President Ho memorial complex for Laos

A memorial complex to President Ho Chi Minh will be built in Xieng Vang village, Nong Bok district, in the Khammouan province of Laos.

An agreement to this effect was signed in Vientiane on Jan. 27 by Director of Vietnam’s Ho Chi Minh Museum Chu Duc Tinh and Souvandi Sisavath, in charge of Laos ’ Kaysone Phomvihane Museum .

The project will be built at a cost of 35 billion VND (1.6 million USD) as non-refundable aid from the Vietnamese Government.

The complex is expected to be completed this year to mark celebrations of the Vietnam-Laos Friendship Year 2012./.
