Russian OVs support people, soldiers in Truong Sa

Up to March 16, the Overseas Vietnamese community in Russia has contributed over 21,500 USD in support of people and ssoldiers in the Truong Sa island district.

The donation responds to a campaign launched by the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese under the Foreign Ministry, to encourage people and soldiers in Truong Sa in protecting the country’s sovereignty over sea and islands.

The money, which came from businesses, associations and individuals, is scheduled to be channelled to the committee by the Vietnamese Embassy in Russia on March 18.-VNA
