A group of Spanish businessmen will attend the Spain-Vietnam Business Forum to be held in Ho Chi Minh City from April 16-17.
According
to the Madrid Chamber of Commerce, the Spanish businesses are involved
in agriculture, garments, electronics, renewable energy and
infrastructure.
The Madrid Chamber of Commerce affirmed that
Vietnam is an open economy with a high growth rate, thanks to
developing foreign trade.
It also highlighted favourable
conditions for Spanish enterprises in the Vietnamese market, including
agreements between the two sides in transport infrastructure and the
soon to be signed Free Trade Agreement between Vietnam and the EU.
The
chamber said that trade reached 1.51 billion EUR in 11 months of 2011,
in comparison with 1.23 billion EUR for the whole of 2010.
Earlier,
in 2008 and 2010, the Madrid Chamber of Commerce organised tours for
Spanish enterprises to visit Vietnam to seek business partners./.
