Thai journalists visit Gia Lai province

A delegation from the Thai Press Federation paid a two day visit to the central highlands province of Gia Lai as part of their working programme in Vietnam ’s southern central and central highlands localities.

During their stay in Gia Lai on August 18-19, the delegation, led by Noppadul Jaiaree, President of the Thai Association of Local Journalists and Editor-in-chief of Sereechon newspaper, held working sessions with the province’s Journalists’ Association and Gia Lai Newspaper.

The Thai journalists said they are interested in the operation model of Gia Lai newspaper. The two sides also shared working experiences, thus helping further the friendship and solidarity between the two countries’ pressmen.

Earlier, in May 2012, the leaders of the Gia Lai Journalists’ Association and Gia Lai Newspaper also paid a working visit to Thailand at the invitation of the Thai Press Federation.-VNA
