VN ambassador to Belgium presents credentials

The Vietnamese Ambassador to Belgium and Luxembourg , Pham Sanh Chau has presented his credentials to the Grand Duke of Luxembourg, Henri.

At a reception following the presentation on Oct. 6, Ambassador Pham Sanh Chau highlighted Vietnam ’s socio-economic development in recent years and the Vietnamese government’s efforts in overcoming the effects from the current global financial crisis.

He said the Vietnamese government and people always attach importance to the friendship and cooperative relations between Belgium and Vietnam , especially the support of the Grand Duke and the Luxembourg ’s government and people for Vietnam in the process of national development.

Henri highly valued the effective deployment of cooperative programmes between Vietnam and Luxembourg , stressing that his forthcoming official visit to Vietnam will contribute to further promoting and deepening the friendship and cooperative ties between the two countries.

The Grand Duke of Luxembourg is scheduled to pay an official visit to Vietnam in the time to come at the invitation of the Vietnamese President./.
