The Vietnam Trade Centre in New York says over 300 US businesses have
contacted with the centre so far this year to seek information about
Vietnam’s market.
Nguyen Manh Hung, director of the centre said many of them want to order
goods with large volume to supply to major retailers, like JC Penny or
Macy’s.
The centre has worked as a bridge to match up
businesses from the two countries and coordinated with domestic agencies
to organise visits not only for businesses from both countries to study
each other’s markets but also for trade experts and officials to
discuss measures to boost trade and investment./.
