VN enhances cooperation with German state

Germany wants to further promote cooperation with Vietnam , and the country’s Hessen State always attaches importance to developing the strategic partnership between the two countries, a German official has said.

State Secretary for European Affairs of the Hessen Ministry of Justice, Intergation and Europe of Germany, Nicola Beer made the statement at her meeting with Vice Chairwoman of Vietnam’s National Assembly Tong Thi Phong on Nov. 18 in Hanoi .

The NA Vice Chairwoman spoke highly of the cooperative programme in law between Vietnam and Hessen state of Germany , expressing her hope that the two countries will continue to share experience in lawmaking and supervision and the German government will support Vietnam in raising capacity of the bodies of the Vietnamese National Assembly.

She also acknowledged the support of the German Government and people to Vietnam in recent times, especially in the field of education and training, saying that the Vietnam-Germany University is a symbol of fine cooperation between the two countries.

On the same day, at a meeting with Nicola Beer, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Thien Nhan said he was delighted at the fine development in relations between Vietnam and Hessen State, expressing his hope that Hessen will cooperate and assist Vietnam in education and vocational training./.
