Vietnam Airlines to raise domestic fares

The national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines has unveiled its plan to increase ticket fares on domestic routes by 15-20 percent as from Dec. 15.

Vietnam Airlines will raise fares by a maximum of 15 percent for routes with high traveling demands between Ho Chi Minh City , Hanoi and Da Nang city, while lifting fares by a maximum of 20 percent for short routes, the airline’s spokesman Le Hoang Dung said.

The airline will also offer competitive prices, which are 50 percent lower than the ceiling prices as stipulated by the Ministry of Finance./.
