The agreement is to realise the minutes of the 7 th Meeting on Cooperation and Development between border provinces of Vietnam and Cambodia that was signed by the two governments on March 9.

Under the agreement, the two sides will promote cooperation in the fields of trade, investment, agriculture, social welfare, environment protection and border security.

The two localities will create favourable conditions for their businesses to strengthen investment cooperation and economic development in border areas. They will propose that their governments to introduce policies to attract more investment into border gate areas.
