Vietnam wants to boost exchanges and cooperation in all fields with China, solve existing issues between the two countries and enhance the comprehensive friendly relationship for mutual benefit, peace, sustainability and development in the region and the world, said a Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) official.

Speaking to representatives of the Communist Party of China (CPC) in Beijing on Feb. 16, Politburo member and Secretary of the CPV’s Central Committee To Huy Rua said that the Party, State and people of Vietnam wish to work with China to realise all common perceptions reached by leaders of the two countries during Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong’s trip to China last October.

Rua said the traditional Vietnam-China friendship, which was established by the late President Ho Chi Minh and the late Chinese Chairman Mao Zedong and developed by generations of officials, needs to be further developed for the future generations.

Member of the Standing Committee of Political Bureau of the CPC’s Central Committee Li Changchun said that the friendship and cooperation between the two Parties, States and peoples play an important role in each country’s national development as well as to peace, stability and cooperation in the region and the world.

He stressed that the Chinese side always attaches importance to the development of the comprehensive strategic partnership with Vietnam , adding that China pledges to work with Vietnam to enact all consensus between the two countries and achieve beneficial results for the two peoples.

Earlier on Feb. 15, Rua and the Vietnamese delegation held talks with Chinese Politburo member and the Head of the CPC’s Organisation Department Li Yuanchao. The two sides exchanged experience in personnel work of the Parties, especially in training and fostering cadres. They agreed to boost exchanges and human resources training cooperation.

During his Beijing trip, Rua and his delegation also met with the head of the CPC Central Committee’s International Department, Wang Jiarui, and visited the CPC’s Central Party School and Chongqing province./.
