Vietnam, Laos promote procuracy cooperation

A high-ranking delegation of the Vietnamese Supreme People’s Procuracy, led by its head Nguyen Hoa Binh, paid a working visit to Laos from Dec. 7-9.

During the visit, the delegation met with President of the Lao National Assembly Pany Yathotou and Lao Deputy Prime Minister Asang Laoly.

At the meetings, the Lao leaders applauded the delegation’s visit, saying that it contributes to developing the friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two Parties, states and peoples.

They highlighted the effective cooperation between the Supreme People’s Procuracies of the two countries in the recent years, expressing their hopes that the two sides will further strengthen cooperation and share experience in the legal field to gain better results, aiming to benefit both countries’ people.

Director Binh informed the Lao leaders of the delegation’s working results with the Lao Supreme People’s Procuracy in personal training and information exchange.

The two sides also agreed to promote practical activities to celebrate the 50 th anniversary of Vietnam-Laos diplomatic ties./.
