Vietnam and Mexico should enhance their relationship in various fields
to match the two countries’ potential, said President Truong Tan Sang.
At
a reception given to President of the Mexican Senate Jose Gonzalez
Morfin in Hanoi on Jan. 13, President Sang expressed his belief that
Vietnam-Mexico relations will be brought to a new height and the two
countries will continue supporting each other in international and
regional forums.
He also affirmed that Mexico will be a stop on his upcoming tour to Latin America.
For his part, Mexican Senate President Morfin spoke highly of Vietnam’s role and position in international and regional forums.
Morfin said he hopes Vietnam will back Mexico to take part in the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) Agreement.
On
the evening of the same day, Mexican Senate President Jose Gonzalez
Morfin and his entourage wrapped up their three-day official visit to
Vietnam./.
