Vietnam attends Malaysia trade fair

Fifteen Vietnamese businesses are joining other enterprises from 14 countries and territories at the International Trade Fair in Kuala Lumpur , Malaysia , which opened on Nov. 22.

Participants at the fair, including those from India, mainland China, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Nigeria and Bangladesh, are displaying products from electronics, electrical appliances and automobile spare parts to food, beverages, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, garments and textiles, home decoration and services.

Vietnamese enterprises brought nearly 100 products of farm produce, food, drinks and handicrafts to the fair with the aim of seeking partners and markets for their products.

According to the Malaysian Ministry of Industry and International Trade, trade between Malaysia and Vietnam in the first eight months of this year reached 4.3 billion USD and is expected to hit 6 billion USD by the end of the year./.
