The HCM Stock Exchange index, the
VN-Index, closed at 599.86 points on Oct. 28, up 3.08 points or 0.52
percent from the previous trading days.
Volume on the southern bourse dropped to 68 million shares, worth a
combined 3.2 trillion VND (179.8 million USD), while newcomer Eximbank
(EIB) claimed a second day as the most-active shares, with 6.6 million
traded.
On the Hanoi Stock Exchange, meanwhile, the HNX-Index closed off on
Oct. 28 by 0.45 percent to 203.51, as trading volume fell to 37.75
million shares, worth a combined 1.7 trillion VND (95.5 million USD).
Foreign investors on Oct. 28 continued as net buyers on both stock exchanges, picking up a combined net of 879,000 shares./.
