Vietnamese, Mexican parties enhance ties

The Mexican Labour Party (PT) highly valued the recent development steps in its relations with the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) and wishes to step up cooperative ties with CPV in the time to come.

General Secretary of PT Alberto Anaya Gutierrez made the statement while receiving Bui The Duc, Deputy Chief of the CPV Central Committee’s Popularisation and Education Commission in Mexico on Oct.14. Duc is leading a delegation to the third World Congress and the 11 th International Meeting on Pre-School Education in Mexico .

Bui The Duc spoke highly the effective support of PT in promoting the images of Vietnam and its people in Mexico and Latin America, PT’s assistances to Vietnamese Agent Orange/dioxin victims and its provision of foreign language and journalism skill training to Vietnam News Agency’s reporters in Mexico.

On the occasion, Pedro Vazquez, Politburo member of PT and Head of the Mexico-Vietnam Friendship Parliamentarians Group (MVFPG) met with the Vietnamese delegation.

Vazquez informed and discussed with the delegation on MVFPG’s activities in the time to come to promote Vietnam ’s image in the country, contributing to strengthening the friendship and cooperation between the two parties and countries./.
