A delegation of National Assembly deputies from central Thanh Hoa province is visiting Laos from September 19-26 to strengthen ties with the country’s local NA deputies.
During the visit, the delegation was received by Lao NA Vice Chairman Saysonphon Phomvihan, who expressed wish that the NA deputies of both countries will further boost the sharing of experience and information to fulfil tasks entrusted by their people, thus helping foster the special relationship between Vietnam and Laos .
Le Nam , head of the Thanh Hoa delegation, briefed the host about the outcomes of a working session with the delegation of NA deputies representing Vientiane capital city’s Zone 1.
The two sides discussed measures to improve the efficiency of their operations in supervising law enforcement and corruption prevention, he said.-VNA
