Vietnamese crewman on way home

Ngo Van Sy, one of the Vietnamese crewmen who escaped from the blazing fishing vessel Jeong Woo 2 of the Republic of Korea south of New Zealand on Jan. 11, was discharged from hospital in New Zealand on Jan. 31 and is on his way home.

Sy was scheduled to arrive at Noi Bai International Airport on Feb. 1, according to the Vietnamese Embassy in New Zealand .

The embassy said it will continue coordinating with relevant agencies to help the other injured crewman, Tran Van Ngoan, who remains in hospital, return home as soon as possible./.
