The Department of Natural Resources and Environment of southern Dong Nai province put into operation four stations to monitor water resource on Dong Nai river on September 11.

The automatic observation stations will record data on water quality and transmit them to the data centre, helping detect and prevent pollution of water timely.

According to the department, 16 industrial zones in the province have installed similar observation stations. Seven businesses with large volume of waste water discharge also installed automatic monitoring equipment. All these stations will connect to the department’s data centres.
