The 2010 World Food Festival closed on July 27 in the southern coast province of Ba Ria-Vung Tau, presenting gastronomy cultures around the world as well as regions in Vietnam.

The five-day festival covered art performances and food activities with the participation of delegations from provinces and cities nationwide and foreign countries.

According to Ho Van Nien, Vice Chairman of the Ba Ria-Vung Tau provincial People’s Committee and deputy head of the organising board, the festival drew over 400,000 local and foreign visitors to taste dishes. It consumed about 100 tonnes of material and processed food.
