Health minister inspects measles control at Hanoi hospitals

Health Minister Nguyen Thi Kim Tien on April 21 visited several hospitals in Hanoi to inspect the containment of measles there.
Anti-measles inspection intensified
The Health Ministry said on April 18 that it has set up five inspection teams to scrutinise measles treatment and prevention in the country’s two major cities of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh, with the aim to reduce deaths caused by the disease.
Hanoi hospitals equipped to combat measles
The Ministry of Public Health will provide 12 medical ventilators for three hospitals in Hanoi in the face of measles outbreak that has claimed 25 lives so far, mostly in children aged below 10 years.
