The shape, pattern and texture of the drum proves it is the earliest type of Dong Son bronze drum, known as Heger 1, dating back 2,000-2,500 years ago, said Deputy Director of the provincial museum Ly Kim Khoa.
Unfortunately, the drum was damaged during construction work. It is now preserved at the Van Yen district People’s Committee office as a national antique.-VNA
