Annual cycling tourney crosses finishing line

concluded on April 30, with riders taking on the final 165km stage from
Bao Loc city in Lam Dong province to Ho Chi Minh City’s Thong Nhat
Square.

The winner of the final stage was Nguyen Quoc Dinh from the Ben Tre province team, followed by Nguyen Hoang Thai from team Dorgalic Dong Thap and Ho Hoang Son from Thanh Son Hoa Nong.
The tourney’s yellow jersey went to Nguyen Truong Tai of team VUS Ho Chi Minh City. The second and third places were secured by Ho Van Phuc from team ADC Vinh Long Television and Nguyen Hoang Giang from team Hat ngoc troi An Giang.
Meanwhile, Le Van Duan from team VUS HCM City won the sprinter’s green jersey. The red jersey for mountain biking was awarded to Nguyen Tan Hoai of team Pharmaceutical Domesco Dong Thap.
Hat ngoc troi An Giang was the overall team winner, followed by Military Region 7 and Domesco Dong Thap.
This year’s cycling tournament began in Hanoi on April 11, drawing the participation of 12 teams. It included 19 stages over a total distance of more than 2,000km.-VNA
