A large crowd of Overseas Vietnamese and Moroccan people gathered at an artistic performance at Mohamed National Theatre in Morocco’s capital city of Rabat on April 27 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Vietnam-Morocco diplomatic ties.

The event was jointly held by the Vietnamese Embassy in Morocco and Moroccan Ministries of Culture, Foreign Affairs and Cooperation.

Addressing the opening ceremony, Secretary General of the Moroccan Ministry of Culture Amed Gouitaa and Vietnamese Ambassador Cao Xuan Than spoke highly of the friendship and traditional cooperation between the two countries.

They affirmed their resolve to elevate bilateral relations to a new height, especially through the exchange of culture, seeing this as a momentum and bridge to expand cooperative ties in other areas.

The event featured the Vietnamese martial art, Vovinam, Ao dai (traditional long dress) and music performances staged by Vietnamese and Moroccan students./.
