Institutions (SAI) was held in Bali , Indonesia , on Nov. 16.
Indonesia ’s Supreme Audit Agency and Brunei ’s Audit Agency take the positions as chairman and vice chairman of the ASEAN SAI for the 2011-2013 term. The State Audit of Vietnam was elected as head of the strategic planning committee of ASEAN SAI.
Earlier the same day, a signing ceremony to establish the ASEAN SAI took place in Bali with the participation of Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and leaders of ASEAN member countries’ audit agencies.
Addressing the event, President Yudhoyono spoke highly of the initiative and cooperative efforts by ASEAN audit agencies to establish the ASEAN SAI, describing it as an important contribution to the efforts of building an ASEAN Community by 2015./.
