ASEAN launches SME guidebook
An ASEAN publication entitled “SME Guidebook Towards the AEC 2015” was
officially launched on Nov. 25 at the sidelines of the 33rd ASEAN Small
and Medium Enterprise (SME) Agencies Working Group (SMEWG) Meeting.

and Medium Enterprise (SME) Agencies Working Group (SMEWG) Meeting.
The ASEAN Secretariat said in a press release on Nov. 27 that the publication aims to support SMEs as the region prepares for the implementation of ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) in 2015.
Besides, the SME Guidebook provides an avenue for SME Agencies - the policy makers responsible for SME development in the region, to conduct exchanges of good practices and lessons learned in implementing policy and initiatives to enhance SMEs’ access to finance, market and internationalization of SME.
For SMEs, chambers of commerce, industry and business community at large, this SME Guidebook provides them with key messages, implications and benefits of the measures, standards, regulations or agreements being implemented by various sectoral bodies under the purview of the ASEAN Economic Community pillar.-VNA
