province of Thanh Hoa for the ASEAN Traditional Music Festival, to be
held from June 1 to 6.
The festival will be held under a recent plan approved by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Each troupe will perform at an official show featuring that country's traditional musical art and will be no longer than 40 minutes. These troupes will also perform in some other shows that will cater to the local audience. ASEAN artists will also hold exchanges at a workshop on traditional music.
The event will create a chance for ASEAN artists to share their experiences, strengthen relationships and enhance solidarity among the ASEAN members in the arts and culture fields, organisers said.-VNA
