ASEAN youth pitch tents in central Khanh Hoa province
An ASEAN+1 student camp, themed “One vision, One identity, One community”, took place in central Khanh Hoa province’s Nha Trang city on October 24.
Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union’s provincial chapter Vo Hoan Hai (Source : baokhanhhoa)More than 300 Vietnamese, Lao, Cambodian and French students attended the event, which boasted 11 sub-camps representing the ten bloc members and France.
Parades, music concerts and cultural exchange activities made up remembrances of the day.
Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union’s provincial chapter Vo Hoan Hai said the camp is a chance for Vietnamese youth to share and learn life and study skills from their peers in the region and France, promote their hometown and seek integration opportunities.
The ASEAN Youth Forum 2015 concluded in Ho Chi Minh City recently with attendees affirming their responsibility for fostering activities connecting people and raising awareness of ASEAN’s cultural identities among young people.
