Vietnamese female boxers secured two bronze medals during the 10 th day of the 17 th Asian Games (ASIAD 17) in Incheon, the Republic of Korea on September 30.

Vietnam ’s Le Thi Bang came third after losing 0-3 to Indian rival Hmangte Chungneijang Mery Kom in the women’s flyweight (48-51kg) semifinal.

Meanwhile, in the women’s light (57-60kg) semifinal, Luu Thi Duyen came third, losing to China ’s Jin Junhua.

At the same time, Vietnamese taekwondo athletes had an unsuccessful start when both Nguyen Trong Cuong and Duong Thanh Tam were defeated by their competitors from the RoK and Iran , respectively.
