The consultants and agriculture officials Australia has posted overseas will bridge ties between the Australian Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry and international organisations and emerging trade partners and seek new opportunities for local food producers.
According to the Australian National Food Plan, the country spent nearly 6 million USD funding operations of its agriculture consultants and officials who are now present in 15 countries worldwide, such as the US, Japan, Thailand, India and Indonesia.-VNA
