Ba Ria-Vung Tau to host int’l kite festival
The 4 th International Kite Festival 2012, themed “Peaceful dances”
will take place in Vung Tau city in the southern province of Ba
Ria-Vung Tau from March 31 – April 2.

will take place in Vung Tau city in the southern province of Ba
Ria-Vung Tau from March 31 – April 2.
The event is expected to see the participation of 60 foreign enthusiasts from 25 countries and territories across the world. Host , Vietnam will take part in the festival with 80 participants from the cities of Hanoi , Ho Chi Minh City , Hue and Ba Ria-Vung Tau.
The festival will be held simultaneously at East Sea tourism complex, Vung Tau tourism market, Paradise tourism area and Vung Tau Intourco resort.
Highlight of this year’s event will be an evening performance of kite dances on April 1 at Paradise tourism area.
During the festival, a series of other activities such as a kite exhibition, a freestyle kite performance and a kite-fighting competition between participating countries will be also organised.-VNA
