A trade fair is taking place in the northern city of Bac Giang with
the participation of 150 businesses from 13 provinces across the
country, looking to seek wider business ties for local manufacturers.

Opened on November 14, the fair is providing space for 320 booths featuring a wide range of consumer foods, from electronics, apparels, footwear, pharmaceutical products, to building materials, jewellery, and handicrafts.
Local producers are able to seek potential distributors as well as material suppliers and seal lucrative deals as the fair is attended by such big brand names as the military-run Viettel, apparel maker Hanosimex, and seafood producer 584 Nha Trang.
Tran Van Loc, Director of the Bac Giang provincial Department of Industry and Trade, expressed his hope that the event will help popularise the locality’s economic, investment and trade potential.
