Minh, seeded No.8 lost to the world No.1 Lee 0-2 (17-21; 19-21) in 34 minutes.
Lee’s opponent in the semi-final will be Tanongsak Saensomboonsuk of Thailand , the world’s No.37.
Minh has only beaten Lee once, in 2009, in 11 matches against him.-VNA
