Ben Tre grants “Heroic Mother” title to 405 women

State title “Vietnamese Heroic Mother” to 405 local women on September
10, whose husbands and children sacrificed their lives for the country’s
independence.

In recent years, local authorities have adopted practical measures to take care of their heroic mothers.
As many as 2,610 women have so far been awarded the noble title in the locality.
Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Vo Thanh Hao called for more joint efforts and donations from individuals, organisations and enterprises operating in the province to be able to take better care of heroic mothers in the time to come.-VNA
