BIM Group, a developer of many high-profile property projects in the country – including the five-star InterContinental Phu Quoc Resort – was honoured as one of the BCI Top Ten 2015 Developers in Vietnam.

The BCI Asia Awards, first held in 2005, have become among the most coveted awards for architectural firms and developers in seven ASEAN countries and territories, recognising developers with the greatest aggregate project values based on the extent of their sustainability.

InterContinental Phu Quoc, a five-star integrated tourism complex with 400 luxurious resort rooms with environmentally friendly designs and high-end utilities, is BIM Group's highlight project this year.

"The resort is expected to help turn Vietnam into the leading tourism and recreational destination, not only in the region but also in the world," said Le Minh Dung, Managing Director of BIM Group's property and resort business.

Other high-profile property projects of BIM Group are Lotus Residences, Green Bay Village in Halong Marina Urban Area in Quang Ninh province, and the five-star Crowne Plaza Vientiane Complex in Laos.

Tourism real estate development is one of the three main businesses of BIM Group, a diversified corporation, which also operates in agriculture, food and commercial services.-VNA
