Binh Dinh (VNA) Physicists from 13 countries worldwide gathered at a seminar on physics which kicked off in the central province of Binh Dinh on August 1.

The event, jointly held by the Rencontres du Vietnam ( Meeting Vietnam) Association and the provincial People’s Committee, focused discussions on studies related to the using of neutrons to probe models of dark energy and the first observation of black hole mergence by gravitational waves.

Gilles Ban, a Vietnamese French scientist from France’s National Institute of Nuclear and Particle Physics, said the event offers a good chance for physical theoretical and empirical researchers and young physicists to exchange and share experience in the field of charge.

According to Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Tran Chau, the seminar helps foster links among Vietnamese and international physicists, scientists and students in basic particle physics, thus promoting scientific research and application in the future.-VNA
