Bangkok (VNA) – A series of bombs exploded in the four southern provinces of Thailand in the evening of May 20, injuring several people.

The coordinated attacks occurred at around 7pm, targeting automated teller machines (ATM), security bases and power poles in Yala, Narathiwat, Pattani and Songkhla provinces.

Police said no deaths were reported and several locals were wounded. Security has been tightened in the southern region.

At present, no individuals or organisations concede to conduct those bombings.-VNA
