At least 10 people were injured in a May 28 bomb attack in the parking area of Kok-Pho hospital, in the southern Thai province of Pattani.

The explosion also damaged more than 60 motorbikes.

The explosive device was hidden inside a motorcycle and detonated by a mobile phone, according to the police.

This is the first attack on a medical facility and the first terrorist act since martial law was declared last week.

Since 2004, violence in the southern provinces of Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat has killed more than 6,000 people.-VNA
