The Dang brother artists and journalists have expressed their sentiments towards Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelago through paintings which they are exhibiting in Hanoi from June 24.

The exhibition at House No. 16 on Ngo Quyen street, themed “Truong Sa - Iron Bulwark - Homeland”, showcases more than 30 paintings by Dang Kong Ngoan and Dang Kong Ngoan, including nearly 20 paintings which the painters had sketched during their stay on the islands.
 
These works of art, almost oil paintings, depict Truong Sa archipelago in various angles through different objects, like tropical almond trees, wharves, the flagpole of sovereignty, platforms and soldiers guarding over the homeland’s sea and islands.

The exhibition, held by the Nhan dan newspaper, the Vietnam Fine Arts Association and the Hanoi Film Association, will end on July 6.-VNA
