The Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, the organiser of the event, said the exhibition once again asserted its contribution to the national development in the globalisation time.

"Proceeds 48 paintings will be offered to the Buddhism Today Charity Fund and for assistance to cancer patients," said Dam Thuy, an artist who donated 20 paintings.

Ten paintings were bought shortly after the opening of the exhibition.
