Bulgarian President Georgi Parvanov highly appreciated Vietnam ’s achievements in the national renewal process and its role in international relations.
The Bulgarian leader made the appreciation while receiving newly-accredited Vietnamese Ambassador Tran Van Thinh in Sofia on June 12.
He expressed his belief that Bulgaria and Vietnam would boost cooperation in economy and trade, as well as in settlement of international issues at the United Nations.
Ambassador Thinh affirmed stated that Vietnam wishes to bolster relations with Bulgaria in every field.
The ambassador said he would do his best to boost friendship and cooperation between the two countries’ Governments and people./.
