PetroVietnam Ca Mau Fertiliser Company Limited has set to earn 5.66 trillion VND (269 million USD) in revenue in 2014 from selling 780,000 tonnes of fertiliser.

According to Chairman of the Board of Members Nguyen Duc Thanh, the company will continue to promote campaigns to introduce its products and expand markets in the northern and central regions, as well as Cambodia, Thailand, the Republic of Korea and the Philippines.

The company has committed to providing enough fertiliser for farmers in the Mekong Delta region, the country’s largest rice bowl, and seeking markets for rice to ensure their interests, Thanh further said.

This year, the company fulfilled its yearly target 15 days ahead of schedule.

The company produced 780,000 tonnes of urea, with nearly 750,000 tonnes sold, earning about 6.443 trillion VND (306.8 million USD). The figure represents a year-on-year increase of 60 percent in both volume and value.

After two years of operation, Ca Mau fertiliser accounts for 40 percent of the market share.-VNA
